It all started with me. Growing up, I never liked history class. No matter how hard I tried, I just couldn’t connect with the lessons or do well on exams. The dates, events, and facts seemed so distant and hard to remember. I was only ever interested in history when someone would tell me stories in a normal, everyday conversation—something that felt relatable, not like school.
But despite my struggles, I always felt like history was important. I just needed to find a way to make it stick.
One day, I was watching *The Ellen Show*, and I saw how kids were using flashcards to memorize everything—names, facts, anything. It clicked! For the first time, I realized there was a way to make learning history fun and easy, even for someone like me who had always struggled with it. Flashcards simplified things and made the information feel more like storytelling than schoolwork. It was a game-changer.
That’s when the idea for my store was born. I wanted to create something that would not only help me remember history but also help others who felt the same way. So I started designing flashcards and t-shirts that tell stories—specifically, the rich and beautiful history of Ethiopia. I wanted to share this with the world in a way that’s fun, simple, and engaging, for anyone who struggles to connect with history the traditional way.
Now, through my products, I’m sharing Ethiopian culture and history with others—whether through a t-shirt that sparks curiosity or a flashcard that makes remembering easy. This business is not just about selling items; it’s about telling stories in a way that connects with people like me, who need a different way to learn.
